Isabelle Grenier Appointed President and CEO of Universitas

The Board of Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Isabelle Grenier as President and Chief Executive Officer of Universitas. After nearly 20 years with Universitas and an enviable reputation for her leadership and mobilization skills, Isabelle Grenier succeeds Gaston Roy, who is stepping down to retire after over five years in post.

"Isabelle Grenier is a perfect fit for the position. She is a visionary leader and has distinguished herself through her impressive communication skills, her sense of strategy and her rigour. She was the natural choice and it is with full confidence and all our support that the Board of Directors entrusts her with these new functions," says Yves Lacasse, Chairman of the Board.

Ms. Grenier is a senior executive who presents a remarkable track record. After becoming a member of the Barreau du Québec in 1992, she pursued her career as a lawyer working in private practice for nearly a decade. Since 2000, Ms. Grenier has headed all of Universitas Financial’s legal department, where she successively held the positions of Corporate Secretary, Vice-President of Corporate Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer, and then Executive Vice-President.
