Financial education and support for educational success: Kaleido’s commitment highlighted at Cégep de Sainte-Foy

“The Cégep de Sainte-Foy and its Foundation are fortunate to be able to count on the support of partners with shared values who, through their philanthropic commitment, facilitate the realization of innovative and far-reaching projects within our college community,” say Nathalie Larose, Executive Director of the Cégep de Sainte-Foy, and Sébastien Lavoie, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. “The establishment of the financial education investment fund, created in 2022 thanks to a $260,000 contribution from Kaleido, has created a real buzz among teachers and students alike. Since the fund’s inception, a number of financial education projects have taken off, including our Trading Room, the only one of its kind in the college environment, and our Investor Club, which recently won top honours on the provincial scene. A great source of pride for our CEGEP!”

The actions of the Cégep de Sainte-Foy and its teachers, combined with the enthusiasm of its students and the support of Kaleido, prove that it’s possible to do just that.”

The financial education investment fund is designed to support educational initiatives in the Financial Services and Insurance Techniques program and to make the world of finance accessible to the entire Cégep de Sainte-Foy community.
